Once an imposing guard tower, its image drawn on antique maps of the region, Il Casale di Villore’s main structure dates back to 1200. Over the course of the centuries, a series of annexes were built to house the families that worked the land. An olive press, granary and wood -burning oven, still fully functional, were also added to bake the bread and store the grain of those residents of centuries ago.
