The Palais Excelsior was built at the beginning of this century and was used as a summer residence of the Princes of Monaco who brought to Limone all the glory and lifestyle of the Royal Family of Monaco. It was subsequently transformed into a Hotel, and in the years that followed it housed the best clientele who appreciated its delightful position in the heart of the resort, its architectural elegance, its magnificent setting and its typical refined and enchanting atmosphere.
