Romantik Le Silve

Hotel Romantik Le Silve is situated in Armenzano, in the heart of Umbria, close to the charming city of Assisi. The property was built on a natural plateau at the foot of the Subasio hill (700 metres above sea level). It is immersed within the beautiful scenario of grassy meadows and woodlands, inside an estate featuring horses, deer and others wild animals. The hotel is housed in a charming, carefully restored 10th century hostel, elegantly furnished with antique furniture. Its terraces and windows offer a spectacular and unforgettable view over the Umbrian landscape. Horse riding and several tracked itineraries for tracking lovers are some of the facilities offered to guests. Furthermore the hotel boasts a tennis court, a swmiing pool and mini golf track, as well as a restaurant and a bar.

Il Palazzo

The Palazzo Bartocci Fontana, built in the 1500 following the design of Giulio Danti, is situated midway between the Basilica of Saint Francis and the main square (Piazza del Comune) along Via, San Francesco. Its foundation rises from storehouses, stables and inns of the twelfth -thirteen century. To this day inhabited and run by descendants, the family Bartocci-Fontana, the Palazzo stilI preserves the telari (canvas painting embedded in the wall) painted by Antonio Nessi and located in the central salon on the first floor.

A characteristic hotel in the city’s historic center, just 80 meters from the San Rufino Cathedral and near to the main city square, the Piazza del Comune, as well as to the Piazza Matteotti parking lot, the San Rufino Hotel stands where there was once a group of medieval houses, now entirely restructured. Its smaller, sister hotel, "Il Duomo” (The Cathedral), adjacent to the principle structure, is on the San Lorenzo stairway which leads to the Rocca Maggiore (the Great Castle).
