It is set in the enchanting Gulf of Squillace between Catanzaro Lido, the Bay of Copanello and the lively town of Soverato. At the foot of the old Squillace, of the Castellense of Cassiodorus (VIII century) and the Castle of Borgia, the Tenuta Castellesi is set close to the coast and surrounded of 4000 olive trees and 3000 citrus plantations, in a charming scenery which comes sweetly down to the Ionian sea. Refined country houses, elegantly and comfortably furnished, are sunk among olive trees and various rural buildings. Those houses were restored following the old Calabrian stylistic elements. bike rides, archery, olive harvesting and olive grinding in the mill set inside the “Tenuta”, citrus harvesting will lead you to the rediscovery of old flavours. Moreover, one can enjoy the clear sea, the white beaches and the cliffs of Copanello, Caminia and Pietragrande, places which offer every kind of services and entertainments only 3 km far from the “Tenuta”. The places of Cassiodorus, the old village of Squillace hostin the Castle of Borgia, the Graeco-Roman theatre and the archaeological excavations of the old Skilletion (5 km far from Roccelletta di Borgia) are worth to be visited by all those who love art, history and culture.

HOW TO GET THERE BY PLANE : Lamezia Terme Airport – 45 km. BY TRAIN : Lamezia Terme Railway Station – connection to Catanzaro Lido which is 7.5 km far from the “Tenuta”. BY CAR : Motorway A3 – getting out in Lamezia Terme – 45 km far DISTANCES : “Tenuta” - Squillace mare: 3.5 km. “Tenuta”- Soverato: 7,5 km.

 DESCRIPTION: Inside its 45 hectares (20.000 acres) we have 8 different cores : Restaurant with swimming pool and Bar. Recreational common area. Villas divided into various houses with veranda or garden. FOR A TOTAL AMOUNT OF 20 APARTMENTS AND 10 ROOMS.

 ACTIVITIES AND SEASIDE SPORTS FACILITIES: Panoramic swimming-pool with bar, children’s amusement park, bikes for rent, bowls field and archery.

APARTMENTS AND ROOMS :  are all equipped with every comfort, minibar, TV satcassaforte, air conditioning, phon.gli apartments, stylish and comfortable and can accommodate from 2 to 6 people and are all equipped with kitchenette, satellite TV, safe, air conditioning, veranda, washing line, iron and ironing board

BEACHES : on customers demand, possibility of lump sum payment with the beach “Lido di Squillace”.

SEA : the Ionian sea is blue and emerald, the water is limpid and clear and one can see the depth. This stretch of coast is far from rivers and rich in charming cliffs and offers strong emotions to those who are keen on diving and underwater fishing. SPORTS : fresh water swimming-pool. Archery, Bowls field. Bikes. Table tennis.

ENTERTAINMENTS : entertainment is thought in order to respect those who want to rest, but at the same time we try to let our guests taking part in our farm activities during the day. On demand and for groups of 5 people (for payment), pottery courses kept by the craftsmen of Squillace. Painting exhibitions. Excursions (for payment) on demand for groups of twenty people to several artistic, cultural and tourist places.
