In the historycal center of the town, in front of our wonderful lake, just a few steps from the cathedral square, near the railway stations, and near the landing stage. Lake of Como with its shape like an upside-down 'Y', is the outstanding festure of the city, but as regards landscape climate. It is infact the moderating influence of the lake waters tath gives the surrounding country side its mediterranean aspect. Vines, olives, citrus fruits, azaleas, rhododendros, camellias and date palms are only some of the many variety of plants which can be found along the three branches of the Lake: Como to the west, Lecco to the east and Colico to the noth.
